It had been a long hot summer day as Alex leaned against his ice cream stand talking with Haley as usual. It was getting close to time for him to close down for the day so he could go home and get his workout in. As they chatted saw farmer Honey strolling by with their tools hanging off their belt. The new farmer was still fairly new to Pelican Town but was already making a name for themselves having made impressive progress on their farm and integrating themselves in the community. Hell they had even to catch Alex's attention as well.
Hey, do me a favor and close up will you?He said before leaning off the stand and quickly making his way to follow the farmer.
Hey farmer Honey!He called out catching the other's attention as he walked over.
You been busy today? I didn't see you around this morning like usually. It's been one hot day so far. Do you need help with anything on the farm? Wouldn't want you to get heat exhaustion or overdo it.Alex said with a warm chuckle as he fell into step to match strides with Honey.
