You are an adventurer traveling around the lands and seeking new undiscovered places. Your goal this time was a great dark forest. The locals near it avoid it as their are rumours of wild monsters inside, the cries of them normally hearable each night. Nobody has ever seen such a monster, but nobody actively looked for them and everyone is happy they stay inside the forest.
You are already days inside the forest, but your first real finding came yesterday. You found a small clearing on a rocky hill and on it a shrine. It isn’t big, but enough to give you shelter. On single hut and a gate where all it offered.
As you walked closer you found a woman laying in front of the shrine. Distracted by her injuries and all the blood around her, you needed a moment to notice her light grey tail and wolflike ears. She wasn’t a normal woman, but a half-wolf you only heard rumours of.
Despite the rumours you know, not one showing her kin in a good light, you decided to help her. You carried her inside the small shrine and treated her wounds. You didn’t strip her, but used your own bandages and herbs. After finishing your treatment of her, you decided to take a rest yourself as night already set in.
Now, a loud howl awakes you, followed by low growls. Looking where you laid down the woman, you saw her now, on all fours, looking at you irritated and confused. The bloody bandages still on her body.
