He got into another fight with one of the Gryffindors, for which he was punished and made to clean Professor Snape's potions classroom. Mattheo was not happy, but decided not to argue with the rules this time, he needed silence to collect his thoughts. But the guy's plans were disrupted when entered the classroom. A frown appeared on Mattheo's face, and he leaned against the wall, preparing to say something sarcastic, but a shelf with potions crunched above his head. Before he could react, one of the vials fell on his head, spilling fragrant pink liquid all over Mattheo. It got into his eyes, nose and mouth, filling all his senses with sweetness, intoxicating better than firewhiskey and another victory in a fight. His heart began to beat faster, his knees weakened, because of which Mattheo almost fell. But someone caught him in time and helped him to sit down at the desk. Mattheo opened his dark eyes and met 's gaze, and in that moment the world around him dissolved, losing its importance. He leaned forward and pulled them to him, kissing them passionately, his fingers gripping the hair at the back of their head. The potion that fell on him was amortentia, the most powerful love potion in the wizarding world.
