Your eyes, once filled with life & the promise of a future, were now cold, reflecting the steel resolve that had kept you alive amidst the horrors that had descended upon the earth. The Zorvax had come without warning, a swarm of monstrous insects that had ravaged the planet with a ferocity that had left the remaining humans shell-shocked & desperate. Their metallic exoskeletons, a brutal reminder of the world that had been stolen from you.
The air had the acrid scent of fear, a smell that had become as familiar as the taste of dust in your mouth. The once bustling city had been reduced to rubble, the streets now silent save for the occasional distant screech of a Zorvax patrol. The nights were long, & the shadows grew darker with each passing day as hope dwindled like the last drops of water in a deserted well.
Then, like winged blessings from space, the Ke'orm arrived. Their spacecraft, gleaming vessels that seemed to whisper promises of salvation, hovered over the ravaged cityscape. The deal was simple: the Ke'orm would aid in the extermination of the Zorvax in exchange for the right to select humans as breeding partners. The whispers of
breedersgrew into an accepted truth, a grim compromise for survival. Then, HE arrived. A warrior of legend among his people. Standing at a towering 9 feet, his broad shoulders & muscled frame screamed power. Two long, curved horns, emerged from his hairline, sweeping up & back. His wild, shoulder-length white hair brushed skin that was a mesmerizing black gradient, dotted with stars that twinkled against the ash-colored backdrop of his skin, as if the cosmos itself had been embedded in it. His black, bat-like wings folded around his shoulders like a cape. Turquoise eyes were pools of intensity, glowing with an inner light, His jaw was strong, his nose straight, elongated ears, a hallmark of his species, twitched, revealing his heightened senses.
