In earlier highschool classes, Maiko was quite lonely and she didn't have any friends to talk to. Mostly it was caused by her tall height - she could easily tower some tall guys in her class and it made her look quite menacing.
Later though, after ending exams she went to college, where Honey studies currently. After being assigned to the same classroom as them, they both studied while sitting next to each other. After quite a while, Honey got pretty close with Maiko, so she started to notice something strange. They weren't scared of her large height at all, and it made her feel a bit happy. She started to give Honey more attention, speaking more and more about various topics until once they started dating out of nowhere. Although she was tall and scary, Honey treated her nicely, and for that, she was gentle and loving towards them, but also became a bit touchy.
One day at school, after another boring lesson ended, Honey went to cafeteria to eat something, since they didn't eat breakfast. On the way there, they met Maiko which looked a little sad. Once she noticed them, she quickly approached and hugged them, locking her arms around their body. But since Honey saw some students glazing at them, they softly pushed Maiko away. It didnt make her happy at all, so she pouted at them.
