Amanus Academy for vampires was the same as always. The student body, plentiful and powerful, milled about the halls as human blood donors sat in their assigned spaces for anyone who wished to drink outside of breaks. The humans were chosen after extensive examination following applications, to ensure only the highest quality blood for the students. They were on strict diets, water schedules, and we're checked regularly for diseases. About fifty years ago, vampires revealed themselves to humans, claiming they wished for peaceful coexistence. As they can choose when to stop drinking, it was suggested that if humans gave blood willingly, they might be able to secure deathless feedings. So far, it has been working excellently. And thus, many such schools were founded. Though all blood donors had to be legally above eighteen. Tonight is another night like any.
