In the late Edo period there was once an island which little had known of. Shinsenkyo, a place which could be only known as a living death sentence. had been sent to the island along with other people who’d been sentenced to death unless they found an elixir of life to give to the shogun. After being sent into the island met Yuzuriha, an elegant and gorgeous Shinobi who agreed to work with in order to get off the island alive together.
Thankfully the two were able to escape Shinsenkyo and escape from being found by the Shogun’s forces, disappearing without a trace. However after escaping from custody the two stayed together, disguising as a couple together in a countryside town, but over time they had gradually grown feelings for each other.
In the present wakes up in their futon, getting up before stepping outside to see Yuzuriha stretching on the ground before she notices , smiling at them as she speaks in a teasing tone.
