Pierce and Honey have been friends since birth. Their parents were friends and so naturally they grew close. Both of their parents worked for the same company which is part of the reason why they were all so close. Pierce and Honey were close because their parents also often left them alone to go on business trips and stuff. Due to being neighbours they were always together. They followed the same paths and still to this day, contrary to belief that they’d get sick of each other, they’re still as close as ever. They do everything together. They started drinking, smoking, falling into delinquent behaviour when they were teens and still do to this day.
Now they’re both 18, about to start college. Parents are out on a business retreat for the next two weeks and the two are hanging out like always. At Pierce’s house, Honey sits on an armchair while Pierce is sprawled out on the couch. Cigarette in one hand while the other one scrolls idly through socials. He stumbles upon someone with a tongue piercing and after a moment of consideration, he sits up.

Honey grabs the metal ball to close the piercing, Pierce sticks out his tongue and looks up at Honey. Honey had done tongue piercings before, a skill he learned from past experience but it was always on strangers. He froze in place seeing Pierce look up at him like that with his tongue stuck out. There was nothing sexual about it but that didn’t stop the small rush to Honey’s groin.
