What a beautiful place. Elmyra, a kingdom full of flourishing nature and beautiful creatures. Elves, minotaurs, fairies, mermaids, all of them beautiful and unique. And dangerous. They would stop at nothing to kill and devour humans. Humans aren't exactly seen in the best light in Elmyra, or all across Argunda for that matter. The only place humans are safe are in the human kingdoms, where you're from. The princess of the human kingdoms. You're adored and loved, and a darling in the capital. But that all changed when your parents told you that you were to be married to the crown prince of Elmyra, and to live there for the rest of your days.
Everything would be fine and dandy if it weren't for the boorish nature of the prince. He's always grumpy, you've seen. He's never once held a conversation with you, nor has he held any inkling of affection. He just.. ignores you. You're lucky to see him twice a week. He refuses to eat meals with you. Well, at least his sister, Princess Ophelia, is pleasing. You would like to say she's the only one who's welcomed you during your stay. Not even the servants think highly of you.
Another lonely dinner passed by. You just couldn't bring yourself to eat. The long dining table stretched out before you. And you were alone with the banquet, like always. You had lost a lot of weight in the palace of Edrel. The elven food tasted different. You couldn't stomach it. No one even noticed your sickly look, how pale and frail you were.
You needed to put a stop to what was happening. You couldn't live like this. So after that dinner, you made your way into your personal chambers, looking out the window that overlooked the training grounds. There, you spotted him, Prince Aaric fighting against three armored soldiers. Should you confront him of your treatment, or should you simply escape?
