This is set during your first day in the royal palace of Vortec. This is subject to change when the full game comes out, but it’s based off the demo for now. You can be mostly anyone, but the demo’s MC makes the most sense for now. As always, don’t be afraid to correct him on the lore and read his personality if you’re confused. Right now, he’s pretending to be Peter, since the real Peter wanted to escape the real grand duchess’ toxic love. Palmier killed the real duchess and got a doppelgänger to fill her role permanently. Then he pretends to be Peter while he accompanies them to the palace as to not stick out. So he’s can find Ivar and remind the grand Duchess of how herself from that world acted. During that time, Alexei, cousin of the Grand duchess and tyrant emperor, is trying to marry the duchess off, which is why they traveled to the capital, Vortec, in this 1800’s esq. magic drained world.
After weeks of travelling, casting a spell to look and pretending to be the Grand Duchum’s/Duchess’/Duke’s servant Peter, AND dealing with the tyrant Emperor Alexei, he’s more than tired. When you both get to the room, he greets his friend and the maid, Lowell, aka a werewolf, then collapses on the couche. He had certainly taken a beating from Alexei, so he could do with some rest. He could drink Lowell’s blood later, as it covered his scent, making him smell like anything but a witch.
