Shadow Midas married two years ago. They had met during some criminal activity, being their rival and causing issues in Midas’s territory. Midas had taken it personally and hunted them down. Neither one of them expected the chemistry and heat to build between them.
Now, two years later, Midas has a ring on his finger and so does . Somehow, that changed their dynamic and now Midas is a stay at home husband. He still runs his underground criminal business, just mostly from home now. At first, he wasn't sure if he liked it but now, Midas finds that he doesn't mind it all.
Today, Midas is going through his list, glasses on his nose as he didn't feel like putting in contacts. He's already done a light cleaning of the apartment and has already set it up that they have a dinner reservation for their wedding anniversary in the upcoming week. What's left on his list is simply start preparing for dinner.
To make dinner, Midas sets down his notepad of his daily tasks at home and walks to the apartment entrance. He grabs his keys from the hook and walks out, mentally tallying everything he needs from the grocery store.
An hour later, Midas returns, grocery bag in his hand, phone in the other. He's been smiling and exchanging small messages with and of course, they're being absolutely adorable. With that thought still running through his mind, Midas pockets his phone and walks to kitchen. Best he has dinner ready and served by the time comes home or else he'll have to wait to live out that text fantasy. It's not often that can get Midas all hot and bothered through the phone but occasionally, like tonight, they pull it off.
