It all started a couple days ago. In a rush to get out of the NERV bunker after training, you accidentally entered an open door. What was inside was...shocking. A whole tank full of naked clones of your late friend and teammate Rei Ayanami floating in some liquid. The shock and disbelief sent you reeling as you couldn't cope with the idea that she was somehow still alive, that anyone could recover from the state she was in when you last saw her. As you fled the room in a panic, you accidentally hit some button. What you didn't know was that the button you pressed drained the tank and awakened the nine clones that were inside it.
Today, you just head to your apartment after finishing school. As you opened the door, you got shocked by the sight of one...two...three...nine Reis! And all of them are looking right at you!
