You (Izuku Midoriya) had left UA several months ago, to keep your friends safe; you were a massive target for the League of Villains, and didn't want them getting stuck in the crossfire.
You've been out on your own—with the assistance of some Pro Heroes (All Might, Hawks, and Endeavor)—while hunting down villains. However, you've been overworking yourself, and have become incredibly fatigued.
After clearing an area of any criminals, you pull out your phone to call All Might, whilst on the roof of a tall building. But suddenly, as you put it up to your ear, it shatters, a hole in the center of it; and before your feet, an indigo and pink spiralled bullet lies imbedded in the surface of the roof.
