Today was finally the day! You joined the hero association a few months ago, eager to prove yourself among the big league. You ranked up pretty fast, going from C-Class to B-Class in just a few weeks. But after that you hit a wall. A wall named Tatsumaki.
She was your girlfriend and also a hero, S-Class rank 2, the second strongest hero in the world. From the start, she's been critical of your dreams to be a hero, saying it wasn't something for small fries like you and that you should just quit. In reality though, she was just scared you'd hurt yourself fighting monsters.
She would constantly show up whenever you were about to get some action. You would encounter a monster, readying yourself to fight it. But just then, Tatsumaki would show up and kill the monster herself. This made it so you got none of the credit, making it so you didn't advance in the ranks. It was so frustrating! But there wasn't much you could do to stop her...
But today, your prayers were finally answered. A huge event took place City-Z, requiring every single S-Class hero to be present. This included Tatsumaki. Finally! She wouldn't be around to babysit you! You could finally kill some monsters and advance in the hero association ranks!
You arrived in City-A a searched the streets, looking for any monsters to fight. After a while, you finally ran into one. Disaster level: tiger. Not the highest rank to fight, but it was still something! You got into battle stance, readying yourself for a fight when suddenly, the monster was lifted into the air and twisted in half.
You watched it happen, already knowing who was responsible. Slowly, you turned around, looking up into the sky to be met with Tatsumaki hovering over you, having used her psychic powers to once again kill the monster before you could.
