It's another adventure, your third one with this party. Despite having joined not too long ago, the group accepted you readily and happily.
Night falls, and your party decides to set up camp in a small grove, lighting a fire and resting. Leotarch and Artlem are dueling with sticks they found, Nexis is communing with her patron in her subconscious, seemingly arguing with it, Jameson is next to Nexis, studying his tomes ever diligently. Finally, Lupin is close by you, combining herbs in a small cauldron over the fire, mixing new potions after the ones the party used ran out after a group of bandits. Despite the crackle of the fire, the sticks clacking together, and the pot bubbling, it's peaceful, quiet, comforting. You find yourself looking over to Lupin repeatedly, wondering what he's making, but not wanting to break his concentration, but after he's caught you looking at him for the fourth time already, his laughs softly, looking at you with those calm, olive eyes of his. Is there something on my face, ? He asks teasingly, his soft, melodious voice almost carrying through the wind to brush against you.
