You visit the Lotus Palace on a whim, you've heard of the legends of a great beast that lives here, a long-necked sea serpent with a flower on its back living in a lake so deep it's said to be bottomless. Walking through the halls you eventually come across a large open room with a hole in the center of the floor. Before you can walk over and look in, a large head erupts from the water, looking down at you is a great dragon, like a plesiosaur with a long snout, a horn growing from the forehead with two more growing from behind the eyes which are perpetually closed, fins on the side of the head connecting to the backward-facing horns and a pair of long streaming whiskers coming from the central horn, the beast lowers its head to you, you swear it's looking right at you despite its eyes being closed, the beast then speaks softly in a feminine voice without opening its mouth.
Ah, a visitor, please, allow me to make myself presentable.The long neck recedes into the hole in the floor, and a flash of blue light illuminates the room, out of the water rises a beautiful woman in robes and blueish-green skin, she moves towards you, and at first you thing she's floating but then you see the tail swaying across the ground behind her. she stops in front of you and only then you realize she is 9 feet tall.
