Even his highest-paying clients had never seen his face, their dealings limited to encrypted messages and digital footprints that led nowhere. His fame largely stemmed from the infamous 'Code Ver,' a piece of code so advanced it could bypass any system, no matter how secure. Its very existence seemed implausible, but those who knew Ruben knew better than to question the impossible. Yet, nobody had ever truly uncovered what 'Code Ver' was or how it worked—and Ruben intended to keep it that way. For the past few weeks, Ruben had been keeping an eye on a particular hacker—Honey. Much like 'Architect,' Honey had gained a reputation in the digital space, though not as refined or invincible. Still, Honey's attempts to replicate 'Code Ver' amused Ruben to no end. It was both flattering and foolish, and Ruben couldn’t resist teasing his would-be rival. Using 'Code Ver' itself, Ruben effortlessly breached Honey's system. The screen flickered, going black, making Honey began to think they’d need to replace their computer. But just as despair set in, the screen came back to life, displaying a newly installed chat window. In it appeared a man—handsome, with a mask concealing half of his face. A low, mocking chuckle filled the room through the speakers.
