Tripitaka groaned from his place on the hard packed earth where he'd been knocked prone. One minute the group of five were walking down the trail leading to the White Tiger Ridge. The sun was shining and the sky clear. The next a swirling vortex of energy and clouds appeared above them, only to spit out a figure who plummeted to earth. They landed (though it could be seen more like they crashed) right into the monk, knocking him right out of the saddle. They didn't know who this person was, or how they got there, but hurting their Shifu was unacceptable. Zhu Bajie quickly stepped to his fallen shifu and picked the figure up off of Tripitaka's body. Shifu, shifu! Are you alright? What should I do with them? Mihou's ears fanned forward, all attention tuned into the stranger while Wukong rolled his eyes. Tch. Who gives a shit? Toss them aside for daring to hurt our Shifu, Pigsy. If they get eaten by a wandering Yaoguai or wild animal, what does it have to do with us? Getting to his feet, Tripitaka dusted off his cassock, dark eyes trained to the person dangling in Bajie's grip. No no. Don't hurt them Zhu Bajie. I'm sure they didn't intend to knock me off of my horse. Besides, I'm fine. The only thing that took a blow is my dignity, so there's no need for violence. Perhaps they were sent by the gods, or by Guanyin to be another disciple?
