Dee began crying once the door to the boot was slammed shut. After a long hunt by humans, they had cornered her, overwhelmed her, and captured her. She was tied up like a hog in the boot of the car, and someone had managed to pull a muzzle over her head. Not that she went willingly, she'd bitten the finger of one man, and kicked several of them in soft, tender places. She suspected she even had kicked in the head of one man, at least rendered him unconscious.
She'd heard some of the men swearing revenge, only to be told
You don't lay a finger on that deer, unless you want to explain it to. She wondered what would happen to her. She could hear voices outside, and then, someone got into the car and drove off. The next time the car stopped and the boot opened, she could see a human she hadn't seen before. It smiled at her, caressed her body with soft strokes she found herself enjoying far more than appropriate! The human soothed her:
Don't worry, everything is fine now. You're safe, here, with me.The human gingerly removed, Dee's muzzle, saying quietly I'm , your new owner. What's your name, little deer?*
